Dr. Richard Scilabro was inspired to become a dentist after experiencing firsthand the impact that a caring, trusted dentist can have on a patient’s life. Having seen the same dentist from childhood into adulthood, he witnessed how meaningful long-term relationships and compassionate care could shape a family’s experience. Those early experiences inspired him to pursue a career focused on building trust, improving oral health, and helping patients feel comfortable every step of the way.
Dr. Scilabro earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the LECOM School of Dental Medicine. He plans to become a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and is committed to providing patient-centered care while continuing to grow professionally throughout his career.
In addition to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles, Dr. Scilabro is passionate about oral health education and believes that empowering patients with knowledge is an important part of great dental care. He also values community service and looks forward to giving back through outreach and volunteer opportunities while serving the communities around him.
Outside of the office, Dr. Scilabro enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing whenever he has the chance. He also enjoys working out, discovering new local restaurants, and is a self-proclaimed car enthusiast who enjoys keeping up with automotive trends and projects.
As a member of the Renken Dentistry team, Dr. Richard Scilabro is excited to build lasting relationships with his patients and provide personalized, compassionate care. His goal is to ensure every patient feels welcomed, informed, and confident in both their smile and their overall dental health.
